I would guess a ruptured lower uterine segment to explain the deep variables and bleeding post partum. Foley catheter should tell you if she ruptured into bladder or not. Pretty much oblicgated to evaluate pelvic and abdomen through midline incision in light of drop in HCt and finidings on the CAT. This would be the horses.....Zebra would be accessory lobe of placenta present with percreta. agf

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
