I know it has been said here before, but I must say it again – “ACOG, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY?” Maybe we should start with some financial accountability – how much of our dues goes to the top and for what…

Ah, youth.

I fondly remember when ACOG, through one of her officers, practically mandated VBACs, much to the horror of the docs in the trenches.

I fondly remember when ACOG, through its executive director, professed to the world that fully 85% of its members agreed with abortion on demand.

I fondly remember ... oh, hell, I keep showing my age.

The scariest thing is ACOG teaming up with ABOG. It was nice when they were separately a lobbying organization and a certification organization. If they combine forces, the patients suffer in the long run.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
