Interesting Case

Saw a G5P5M0 lady yesterday, 45 years, complaining about menstruation getting heavier and longer, now 7 days, and watery discharge after the menstruation.

She has seen one GP trained behind the Iron Curtain for a year or so who transfused her but otherwise hasn't figured out anything. She then went to see my GP who sent her after the second visit down the hall to see me. PAP was normal, Urine showed E. Fecalis which has been treated, a full lab workup was otherwise normal.

BMI of 30, bulky uterus. Otherwise nil of note.

What will the Ultrasound show?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
