Having dealt with many patients with a R-V Fistula both pregnant and non-pregnant I offer my opinion that there is no reason to be concerned about the pregnancy in this case, but not to repair the fistula until the infant is delivered. The next question will be how to deliver, and that will depend on the degree of vaginal scarring left from the original surgery. It sounds as though an elective Caesar will be a distinct possibility.

Now in Italy our surgical correction of vaginal stenosis and miomectomy. While waiting for surgical correction of rectovaginal stenosis she has become pregnant(first pregnancy). The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
