for Art Re: Please comment on this ultrasound reportFrom: GIN11153@aol.comTue Apr 10 14:33:30 2007
No offense taken but it seems every time I post something, you ask me about being a legal nurse. I'm not a full time legal nurse-I review maybe 2 charts a year and actually haven't reviewed any in over a year. I'm an OB nurse, student midwife and student nurse practitioner, continuing to learn from all of you. However, if you want to earn $350 and up reviewing charts, email me your CV and fee schedule because I still have LNC friends who need an OB/GYN from time to time for medical record reviews. My friend's question about her daughter-in-law's ultrasound has nothing to do with a legal case. The family is concerned about the remarks made in the US report about a possible problem and I don't know how to answer her question. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
