Glen atypical glandular cells are asociated with a malignant lesion 30% of the time, tell her that ; it sounds like she wants permanant treatment; a hyst is fine by me. If she or you don't feel comfortable with nodes send her to a Gyn onc. Did you get a ton of tissue on the sampling, if you did then at 69 you known she needs treatment, heck I don't always wait for the path when I get a ton of tissue I put them on provera right away and tell to come back in 2 weeks to discuss the final path and whether they need any more treatment.
