Why are kids so fascinated with flushing thing? re the patient-you'd be surprised how unfamiliar some women are with their anatomy and what's going on with it. I would hope she's been checking for the string, but I wouldn't be at all shocked that an IUD could be flushed down the toilet and never seen. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
