Re: Lost IUDFrom: Jamie (ajfields@pine-net.com)Tue Mar 27 08:01:38 2007
I need one of those!!! Why are kids so fascinated with flushing thing? re the patient-you'd be surprised how unfamiliar some women are with their anatomy and what's going on with it. I would hope she's been checking for the string, but I wouldn't be at all shocked that an IUD could be flushed down the toilet and never seen.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
