Thanks to all--great discussion.

I really missed the boat here; I did not have the sense of urgency to deliver based on the footling/4 cm. that virutally everyone has, including the 3 MFM docs that I've presented the case two (when we were on the phone for other stuff) and all of my fine internet colleagues.

Joe C. is right; 5 PM and hubby are irrelevant, but hubby is kind of relevant, as an upset patient is no fun (but better than a PROM and prolapsed cord).

I set up, and performed, a section around 24 hours later, as that's when I could get to it.

I did not admit her, and, retrospectively, should have until the section.

Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
