Tanzania questionFrom: Danae Steele (noheaecs@yahoo.com)Fri Feb 16 21:45:32 2007
I'm about to leave for 2 weeks in Tanzania working on a research project that I've been consulting on. Besides the equipment that I need for what I'm going to be doing (teaching basic dating U/S, and neonatal resuscitation), any ideas for anything else I could be bring that would be useful in a hospital there? I have not had direct contact with the doctor I'm going to be working with, and won't until I get there I think. Books? A big bottle of misoprostol for PP hemorrhage? Anyone have any ideas of something portable I could bring along which would be appreciated? You can e-mail me privately if you have suggestions. Thanks,
-- Danae Steele, M.D.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
