There are two OBs in my tiny county. One of them is known as a sadist
and a lech; the other was asked to leave another hospital d/t some
unspecified patient safety issues. The remaining OB providers here are
2 FP DOs, both of whom are fine at leaving things alone in normal
labors, but who tend to underreact in the rare cases when something
needs to be done. It's not always quantity that's the issue in rural
areas.
