But will still get you in trouble occasionally. Nothing beats clinically following the patient. US's in this situation will lead you down the primrose path. I have personally had patients where US said Left ectopic and that patient had a rt ectopic AND an IUP. Have had US say ectopic with cardiac activity when IUP was present. Also have had US say IUP and an ectopic was present. US is someones intrpretation of a shadow. Dan

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
