I've done about 100 cases of ESSURE. The advantages to the patient are no general anesthesia, and no incisions. More than 90% of my sterilization patients have accepted ESSURE. I think that most sterilization procedures SHOULD be done hysteroscopically.

I do the procedures in the office with a Storz Bettocchi scope.
