"Cesarienne un jour, cesarienne toujours". That was before 1980. Then came some publications (USA, incidental VDs after 2 C-sections) showing the rule "never two without three" was not mandatory and the risk of uterine laceration wasn't significantly higher. The actual trend is to wipe out these findings and to get rid of VBACs for non medical reasons, but in this case the maternel risk is truly to be considered. Anyway, may I suggest you buy a new book? :-) Bernard

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
