Re: Question about placenta accretaFrom: Meenan, Anna (annam@uic.edu)Sat Oct 28 18:06:52 2006
But would anything have altered the outcome in THIS particular case? It's quite possible that the OB was thinking accreta and was perhaps prepared. We are not privy to his/her thought processes. In this case, I'm wondering if anyone could have done anything to improve the outcome that was achieved. (i.e. is someone alleging that knowing for sure it was an accreta would have saved her uterus? The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
