Re: Cleveland Clinic Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory QuestionaireFrom: yodo@comcast.netMon Oct 23 16:41:21 2006
I have done about 60 "cryos" in the office in the past 2 years .....We have trialed every instument out there and I believe cryo is the safest in the office setting. I generally use Microwave in the hospital and they are now trying to encourage me to use it in the office. Problem is their probe is 9mm vs. 3mm for the cryoprobe. Cryo results are generally good with approx 20-30 % being hypo or amenorrheic. The rest are eumenorrheic and about 10% get no relief at all. Reimbursement is excellent and patient acceptance and tolerability are very good with proper selection and a good paracervical!! Steven L Richman DO FACOOG

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
