Re: PARKLAND MEMORIAL HOSPITAL's OB dept......UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!From: Margot Barclay, MD, FRC (bmargot@telus.net)Mon Oct 23 12:34:17 2006
On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second >>> busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies >>> arriving each year. (That's almost 44 per day---every day.) Guess that's why they wrote the book!
>>> The average patient in Parkland's maternity wards is 25 years old, Gee, it almost sounds like an argument in favour of universal health care. (Just being provocative, folks. Take it in good humour.)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
