LOL Or they take the "nursing moral high ground" and say something like: "Well, for YOU, doctor, we'll make an exception this time." They're doing YOU a favor, don't ya know. Joe P. P.S. The best one of those stories I have is a MgSO4 protocol I helped write for a local hospital. One day, I had a patient come along who was massively obese, so I was appropriately raising the MgSO4 loading dose or something and the nurse said I couldn't because it was different from the "protocol" THAT I HELPED WRITE!!!!!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
