Canadian CounterfeitFrom: GIN11153@aol.comSat Sep 2 02:58:28 2006
Aug. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Americans shouldn't buy prescription drugs from Web sites linked to Canada's biggest mail-order pharmacies because the medicines may be contaminated or ineffective, U.S. regulators said. Laboratory tests of intercepted drug shipments found counterfeits of some of the top-selling treatments for cholesterol, blood pressure, heartburn and pain, the Food and Drug Administration said today. An international probe involves Mediplan Global Health and Mediplan Prescription Plus Pharmacy in Manitoba and Web sites including Canadiandrugstore.com, Canada- pharmacy.com and RxNorth.com, the agency said. _http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601082&sid=aYForJXvHvak&refer=canada _ (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601082&sid=aYForJXvHvak&refer=canada) Gail Neuman RNC CPHW SNP LNC student nurse practitioner and student midwife listowner of LegalNurseConsulting@yahoogroups.com certified high risk OB/legal consultant Notary Public/Certified Loan Signing Agent PrePaid Legal Sales Associate Perinatal Nurse Associates Santa Ana, CA

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
