Respectfully, Hank, I, on the other hand would have to point out that c-sect carries a 4 fold maternal death rate. I don't think that this is a place to start since babies do engage often in labor, pelvis's do have give and babies heads mold to fit into the pelvis. If her pelvis was that grossly abnormal, I am sure that someone would have ruled her out as a vaginal birth candidate on her initial visit. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
