Re: Ob: staples at C/SFrom: Elrod, Darryl G Maj 48 MDOS/SGOBO (Darryl.elrod@LAKENHEATH.AF.MIL)Mon Jul 31 04:24:02 2006
Why should you have to remove sutures? I use a 4-0 Monocryl for closure so it shouldn't be an issue. I had a prolene subcuticular used on my elbow when I had ulnar nerve transposition done and it was uncomfortable coming out, but it didn't 'hurt' per se. Glen //SIGNED// D. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
