Re: Ob: staples at C/SFrom: Bernard Cristalli (bcrist@club-internet.fr)Sun Jul 30 07:21:38 2006
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Staples are used on a regular basis for thyroidectomies. These scars are probably among the less visible and prettiest. Staples have to be loosened on the 2nd POD, that's the point which avoids ugly scars, then one out of two is removed the next day, and the rest the day after. If you keep tightened staples for a long time you'll have those ugly scars. And the removal is painless for anyone used to it. Bernard RModugno@aol.com a écrit :

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
