  Agree totally its worth a few more minutes...OTOH, one gets back some of that time, I believe, in not having to remove staples, and - often - first having to spend time explaining and reassuring the patient the staple removal won't be as dreadful as she may believe. Thouhgt,  IMHO, it always has some level of anxiety and discomfort for the patient.
