Thomas, M.D. FACOG Stratford, CT Agree totally its worth a few more minutes...OTOH, one gets back some of that time, I believe, in not having to remove staples, and - often - first having to spend time explaining and reassuring the patient the staple removal won't be as dreadful as she may believe. Thouhgt, IMHO, it always has some level of anxiety and discomfort for the patient.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
