I always run the cases by the OB to make sure that he is OK with the inductions. He has pretty much said that I don't have to do it if the patient is over 29 weeks, but he is the one that is going to have to pull me out of the ditch is something happens, so I always talk to him as a curtesy, Vicki Vicki Smith, CNM, MSN West Virginia

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
