throw them. I've never saved entire journals, but have torn articles I was interested in.

I recently moved. I began to review each torn journal article. I wondered why I was even considering an article on epidural anesthesia and c/sections from 1985, or GBS from the early 90's.

So I threw everything out, except my own publications which I kept for sentimental reasons.

Human filing systems cannot begin to compare with a medline search.

Plus if you shred them you can put them in your compost pile.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
