Congratulations, Cheri. Don't you think that an ungulate birth might be a good component early in the training of midwives or physicians? Some of the best obstetricians I know had this in their early training, as they were born on farms and helped their fathers with the births of piglets, calves, foals. (First rule: don't mess unless necessary). Then if necessary, know how to assist and that the mother will be grateful for assistance.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
