Gail,

This was really good news, especially for the people doing VBACs who want studies to back them. It is not that everyone has stopped doing VBACs. We have a local private hospital that is welcoming VBACs and the LA area is doing them also.(about 40 minutes away). Women are traveling to get what they want. The risk of uterine rupture has not changed in the last ten years, just the legal climate. The more studies that are coming out as a result the better.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
