I know the presence of a midwife is mandated by law in Germany, but I wasn't aware of any other countries with this same statute. Could you tell us which other countries these are? Do you think this truly constitutes "most countries?" There are a heck of a lot of countries on this planet...

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
