In answer to your question, Gail, some of the docs on this list would still be able to say yes to a VBAC, especially those who are on staff at a large tertiary care hospital where there are OB and anesthesia residents and fellows in-house, but many of them would have no choice but to say No, as they practice in hospitals where they are not allowed to offer VBAC, or hospitals that would, but can't because the anesthesiologists are not willing to come in and sit for hours when they could be home.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
