Yes. Interestingly, it was a posterior rupture. Remarkably, it happened while my partner happened to be examining the patient. She felt the loss of station - the way she tells it "All of a sudden, the baby's head wasn't there anymore" and heard the decel at the same moment - got the baby out with remarkable speed abdominally. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
