Re: Uterine rupture after VBAC

We just delivered a patient last week who was a G8 P7 who had a section with the first baby.( I have no idea why.) Every one after that was vaginal. She followed our new PRN doc here because the docs in her area wouldn't let her VBAC again. We were all amazed. She did have the 'pooped out uterus' and he did give her some pit to get the labor over with. After 12 hours of s.l.o.w.l.y dilating. A whiff of pit and she delivered an hour later. Vicki

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
