When we were discussing the options - including biphosphonates - she was aghast that I mentioned it - because she heard on TV about how horrible this drug is --> causing osteonecrosis. I did a google search and found nice lawyer sites (in USofA) asking for people to come forward to sue the doctors and the drug company. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
