The original presentation was consistent with a cyst in the Canal of Nuck. I presented it here - no one even mentioned that - and I had never heard of or seen a lipoma in this area. I had never seen the cyst in the Canal of Nuck either.

Since I had not operated in the inguinal ligament or femoral triangle since residency I did have her see a general surgeon and a gyn oncologist ...

What should any of us have looked for???
