In a message dated 4/13/2006 6:56:28 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Babycatchers@aol.com writes: They did tell me to say "Thank You' for the input on the Motrin. We are going to put it on the standing orders postpartum now so we won't have to write it in every time. Vicki CNM, West Virginia Our postpartum standing orders for ibuprofen say: "Ibuprofen 800mg every six hours. Omit if aspirin or NSAID allergy, platelet count <100,000, GI ulcer, renal problems or coagulopathy". Robert Modugno MD MBA FACOG Marietta, GA

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
