Amish/Mennonite clientsFrom: Stmidwife@aol.comTue Apr 11 14:06:10 2006
I was wondering if anyone on this list has a large amount of Amish/Mennonite clients. I recently have two clients that don't know one another who both birthed in Ohio(I am in CA) with an OB/Gyn at a freestanding birth center which has Amish/Mennonite clients/room. I know that both told me that routine tests are done on a needed only basis. I am wondering what the other differences are, I was told that the Amish room was very plain. Can someone expand on this or if anyone practices close to this facility or sees Amish clients educate me on cultural differences. Thank you, Sue Turner, LM Colossians 3:12: And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience â¦

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
