Why?? Do you suspect domestic violence or abuse? To me, that is going above and beyond the normal follow-up for a non-compliant patient and is worse than getting a court order for needed care. We used to have another OB in town who the nurses couldn't always find when his patients were in labor. They would call the police to find him, apparently had a girl-friend whose house they knew about and they could always find him there. Ronald E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
