Actually, you are mistaken. There are many sects of J.Ws who will take RhIG since it is not blood but antibodies produced in cells not a part of "blood." One should presume because the person is a JW that RhIG is precluded.If you do then you may be missing an opportunity to prevent serious disease. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
