In most situations when a patient is clearly responsible for the problem, most physicians and almost all atty do not say the truth. They do not state that the patient is responsible. I guess it is done because people believe that they will alienate a jury by saying the patient is responsible. I wwould have no problem doing that! Sorry it did not come out clearly. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
