Re: GBS testing for repeat cesereanFrom: Barbara Nicol MD (blnicol@ix.netcom.com)Thu Mar 16 12:46:31 2006
What is it with the name thing? Although this is a good question and I appreciate that Ms. Gold signed her real name to the post. A similar thing happened to Gail awhile back too. (Does anyone know anything more than was posted about what happened to Gail? Not to be nosy, but I do hope she's okay.) As long as I'm posting, might as well answer:I do GBS for planned RCS, and with ROM or active labor at term start antibiotics but do not delay delivery (our peds are okay with this, feeling that delay in delivery would just increase the risk of other infections).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
