Re: Informed Refusal - VBACFrom: Myer S. Bornstein (mborn@massmed.org)Thu Mar 16 08:38:21 2006
Around the world, an estimated 529,000 women a year die during pregnancy or childbirth. Ten million suffer injuries, infection or disability. An interesting statistic from an article in the NYT today http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/14/health/14preg.html The article is about a new theory which problems happen. I cannot comment if the theory has promise or not but I known any pregnancy can turn to s--t in a moment low risk or not and constant vigilance is the name of the game Myer

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
