AmniSure ROM Test

I see that hospitals are adopting the new AmniSure ROM Test in droves these days. The two recent publications on the company's website (http://amnisure.com/about.html) talk about AmniSure as a ~99% accurate pRPOM and PROM test. In addition, it’s the only test that doesn’t require speculum exam, which is a big plus.

Is anyone here using AmniSure as one test for all incidents of ROM (including sub-clinical ruptures)? It seems logical to stop using Nitrazine, fern, pooling etc if we bring in AmniSure. You comments will be greatly appreciated.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
