Re: South Dakota law bans nearly all abortionsFrom: GA12L@aol.comFri Mar 10 12:10:57 2006
In a message dated 10/03/2006 18:57:52 GMT Standard Time, dahmd@cfl.rr.com writes: I don't perceive that most people I meet are either "anti-abortion" or "pro-abortion." Most realize there are shades of grey and that individuals often struggle trying to decide on the best course of action. Ashley, You summed it nicely. I am not pro or anti. I believe in a woman's choice to end a pregnancy if that's what she wants but I don't agree with it being used as a method of contraception. Midwives and nurses here have a duty to care for any woman but we can choose to refuse to be involved in a termination, that is we don't have to give any meds that will induce an abortion whatever the reason. How does that compare with everywhere else? Gail

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
