Joanne-

I don't perceive that most people I meet are either "anti-abortion" or "pro-abortion." Most realize there are shades of grey and that individuals often struggle trying to decide on the best course of action. However, one cannot equate an abortion with capital punishment. Capital punishment presumably punishes a guilty person for intentionally illegal actions. Abortion removes an unwanted, non-criminal fetus usually due to maternal inconvenience. They are much different issues.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
