Devil's Advocate - would you DOOM the poor woman to a repeat C/S by doing a vertical or classical or whatever? Or wouldn't you rather boldly jump right in there, knowing you can snatch the baby out in seconds with exactly the same minimal "morbidity" you describe every time?

You don't want to use "classical incision for anterior placenta" as a ruse to keep women from VBACing, do you? Goodness!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
