Re: South Dakota law bans nearly all abortionsFrom: Grace Loehr (divinegracie@earthlink.net)Mon Mar 6 21:03:16 2006
What about the mental health of the father? Richard Chudacoff, MD, FACOG I think any man contemplating having sex with a woman needs to consider that he may potentially impregnate her, and not leave it entirely up to her to avoid an unintended pregnancy. Fathers are responsible for child support in the USA and young men need to be more aware of this obligation. It's easy to get a girl pregnant but this isn't what makes a boy into a man. Being present in that child's life and raising it and loving it is what makes one a man. Unless one is ready enough and mature enough to do this, one needs to prevent unintended pregnancy. A man can promote his mental health by putting little rainwear gear on his willy before getting it anywhere near a woman's vagina. Grace

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
