After the term-breach trial its a whole new ballgame. I know for a fact the both c-section rates and malpractise rates for Great-Britain and France are approaching those of North-America. In 1932 Mom had a 1% chance of dying after a c-section, if it was 1932 I would be puting Vaccums and forceps on breachs, its not 1932. Between 1995 and 2000 I did about 50 vaginal breechs, between 2000 and today I have barely done a dozen singleton vaginal breachs; mom's still come in insisting they want a vaginal breach delievery, there is not a whole lot I can do about that and in all honesty I have no problem with that; but they have to push the baby out and if they can't they get a c-section.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
