Garry,

You are so right. I had a new partner (that was over 12 years ago) who was my "second" Ob at a twin delivery who said (after the delivery) that she had never before seen a breech vag delivery. Unfortunately, I did not know that she knew nothing about assisting with the descent of the head until after I had the baby out. An experienced L&D nurse would have been better assistance!

I too was taught to do the CS for Breech with the same technique as for breech vaginal - so it was known by your hands and mind what to do.

Apparently she was not even taught that -- at C/s for breech she was pretty clumsy and had not been taught that. So we went through teaching her that so at least her C/S breeches would be safer!
