My favorite scene in the ACOG video is the demonstration of the Wood's Screw Maneuver. As I recall, it was old movie film of a heavily draped and probably anesthetized mom whose baby wasn't the least bit stuck, and the OB kinda twirled it around to demonstrate the maneuver. I was surprised that ACOG even included the Gaskin Maneuver, and yes, there is video available that demonstrates the maneuver very convincingly. If your school doesn't have a copy, they could purchase one from Ina May. It wouldn't take but another three minutes of class time to set them straight.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
