I always ask the women I care for if, deep down, they think they're in labour and they are seldom wrong. That's why I do very few v/e's as long as mum and baby are doing well I don't meddle. If things deviate from the norm then I make a new plan of care with the woman and document it in her notes. Gail

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
