All the Brits I know are shocked out of their minds about why such behavior is tolerated here. I don't find it easy to explain why we tolerate such wickedness, but Denise's story helped me understand why we do. Young women quickly learn here that speaking up may not help.

Denise said this happened 32 years ago. Could it happen today?
