You obviously know very little about where I live. New Mexico is in the South(West) where you think it is, but it was and is a world apart from the South(East). Yes, we did have slavery, until 1860 and segregation until the 1950's in *some* States, but neither of these two issues applied to New Mexico anymore than applied to California or New York. The history of New Mexico involves the Spanish Colonial period in the "New World" and the Spanish married the native population ("Mexican and Amererican "Indians") and while there were periods of strife, there was no attempt at "ethnic cleansing." How much time have you spent in the USA? I would guess next to none. You ARE crusty though, but that makes it easier to puncture your bravado. Gerald P. Rodríguez, M.D., FACOG Santa Fe

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
